The Health Plan Executive will lead and manage the operational, administrative, fiscal, and team leadership objectives of the Health Plan. The Health Plan Executive will also represent Anthem in all related partnership matters. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Manages a team of over 60 health plan staff and coordinates activities with shared-service enterprise partners for over 100 shared-service staff.
• Oversight of the operating gain, growth, cost of care commitments, revenue and quality goals.
• Collaborates with shared services support to achieve Health Plan objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures contract compliance, strong health plan culture of impeccable compliance, and maintains oversight of risk management programs.
• Manages customer and regulatory relationships, across Anthem, partner, and state stakeholders.
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
• Orchestrates governance and collaboration between Anthem and BCBS partner.
Qualifications:
Requires a BA/BS in Business, Healthcare Administration or related field; 12 years relevant experience, including 8 years’ experience in government sponsored health insurance programs; leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
