Business Change Manager (Provider Reimbursement) – Columbia, SC Office 

 

The Business Change Manager is responsible for working with management to identify and implement varied projects, programs and plans that support achievement of business unit and enterprise goals.  Possesses full technical knowledge of most phases of systems and business analysis and is able to consider the business implications of the application of technology to current and future business environments. 

 

Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:  

  • Identifies potential issues, project charge, and scope.

  • Leads efforts to identify best practices.

  • Identifies impacted parties, business partners, and resources required.

  • Develops and designs processes and systems that support business needs.

  • Designs methods for integrating function and process.

  • Conducts cost/benefit analyses.

  • Builds support for business change throughout the business unit.

  • Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.

  • Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.

  • Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.

  • Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.

  • Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.

  • May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.

 

Qualifications: 
  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field; 5-8 years of process or project related experience that includes experience in successfully developing and managing projects with fairly significant operating budget and knowledge of process redesign; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • 3-5 years (or more) of business analysis experience.

  • Experience with Pricing Configuration strongly preferred.

  • Medicaid experience preferred.

  • Experience working with large projects.

  • Experience using Teradata preferred.
