The Revenue Accounting department Intern will assist in the Monthly Financial statement close process as well as our monthly work to ensure the integrity of the General Ledger. The right candidate will receive an orientation to the Company and the health benefits industry, be exposed to practical application of Accounting concepts, multiple system interfaces, and have the opportunity to work with other Finance area such as Financial Planning & Analysis, Actuarial, and Underwriting.


Essential duties may include, but are not limited to:


• Prepare monthly standard journal entries

• Perform trend analysis of results to ensure completeness and accuracy

• Complete monthly General Ledger Account Reconciliations

• Develop and implement Continuous improvement projects

• Balance system interface activity to General Ledger postings
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:
• Individual will be a sophomore or junior enrolled in a BA/BS degree program and/or pursuing a masters degree in a Accounting, Finance, or Business related major
• Individual should possess strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite



Must be able to work 40 hrs./week during summer 2019. Internship can be extended into the fall of 2019 on a part time basis.

You have to be at least 18 years of age (unless part of an approved/sponsored program) and currently enrolled in an accredited US college or university. For actuarial students, sitting for or having at least one exam completed by the time your interview is an advantage.

We offer internships that are 3 months, 6 months and part-time during the school year. Our opportunities are based on business needs and student availability.
