This Receptionist position is on the executive floor of 9 Pine St. in lower Manhattan, at the offices of Empire BCBS. This is an chance to get into a great company with the opportunity to grow into a variety of different roles. You must have excellent phone skills, computer skills and excellent bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.

Business casual dress required.

Hours: M-F 8:30 - 5:00


Responsible for greeting visitors conducting business with the company and directs them to the appropriate location by following established security procedures.


Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:


May perform typing or other related administrative duties as required.


Oversees the scheduling of conference rooms using Outlook calendar scheduling.


May interact with members and perform customer service tasks.


Responds to phone calls on a busy, multi-line, Avaya phone system.




Requires a high school diploma, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

-Must be bilingual English/Spanish

-Experience working in a corporate office environment preferred.

-Ability to carry out written and oral instruction; excellent interpersonal skills required.

-Basic analytical, communication and vocational skills and the ability to operate basic equipment required.

-Computer skills: MS Word and Outlook

-Must be professional, reliable and flexible.

We offer internships that are 3 months, 6 months and part-time during the school year. Our opportunities are based on business needs and student availability.
