We have developed a breakthrough model of care that combines innovative programs and medical supervision to enhance the health care experience of our members. Our home office is in Cerritos, CA with branch offices in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Nevada, New York and Virginia.

Our goal is to help prevent the onset of disease or chronic conditions, through a host of tools, services, and screenings like dietician classes, smoking cessation programs, or personalized fitness plans.

We have a holistic approach to care where we take care of the patients’ health, behavioral, economic, or social needs (body, mind, and spirit).

Responsible for providing supervision and leadership to the administrative and non-physician clinical staff of a small care center (typically less than 5 direct reports) and/or serving a smaller population size. Performs the responsibilities of a medical assistant on a limited basis (20% or less of their time). 

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 
Implements and monitors operational/office policy and procedures. 
Ensures office processes are efficient and support the care center practice and enhance patient satisfaction and retention. 
Analyzes daily office operations and utilization of resources. 
Maintains appropriate staffing levels and morale.
Interacts with regional manager to facilitate office operations to meet company objectives.  
Conducts monthly staff meetings. 
Performs responsibilities of a medical assistant. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports. 

Requires a high school diploma; 3 years of experience in a physician office including working knowledge of managed care and Fee-For-Service reimbursement requirements. 
Medical Assistant Certification as required. 
LPN or LVN preferred. For CareMore business units, satisfactory completion of a pre-placement Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.

You have to be at least 18 years of age (unless part of an approved/sponsored program) and currently enrolled in an accredited US college or university. For actuarial students, sitting for or having at least one exam completed by the time your interview is an advantage.

We offer internships that are 3 months, 6 months and part-time during the school year. Our opportunities are based on business needs and student availability.
