Our sales department is vital in providing consultative service to individuals in need of purchasing health insurance for 14 states across the country. We are seeking qualified interns to join our Telesales team.

Interns should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the paid internship having obtained broad experience in various aspects of insurance to include medical and dental products. This role will be responsible for selling Individual and Small Group products and providing high level customer service. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Sells company products in a professional and consultative manner.
• Provides thorough and effective customer service.
• Provides timely and accurate responses to all customers.
• Provides customers with oral and written information as well as a detailed quote on the company plans and services.
• Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of company products and services.
• Optimizes closing opportunities utilizing all sales tools and skills available.
• Completes accurate documentation, maintains records and updates database documentation of all activities during the sales cycle.
• Ensures accurate documentation of leads and sales received from all sources.
• Maintains record keeping system and ensures all business is tracked throughout the sales process.

*Please note that this is a fall internship (August - December 2019) 
• Currently enrolled in a program of study at an accredited college/university.
• Training and Licensing will be provided.
• Licensing is contingent on passing Resident State Health Licensing Exam.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.

Your Questions, Answered

You have to be at least 18 years of age (unless part of an approved/sponsored program) and currently enrolled in an accredited US college or university. For actuarial students, sitting for or having at least one exam completed by the time your interview is an advantage.

We offer internships that are 3 months, 6 months and part-time during the school year. Our opportunities are based on business needs and student availability.

We are delighted to get to know you! Our team participates in various on-campus events throughout the year and from time to time hosts meetings in our offices. The fastest way to see where you stand in the application process is to log into our system to check your status.

Because internships are temporary positions, the only benefits offered at this time are access to our onsite fitness facilities, and the ability to contribute to a 401k. We do, however, offer opportunities to get connected, and be mentored through our various ARGs (Associate Resource Groups).
