Location: Cerritos, CA (occasional travel throughout CA, AZ and NV)

The Manager, Pharmacy Clinical Operations is responsible for developing and implementing clinical pharmacy programs to promote quality and cost-effective drug utilization. 

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Manages clinical pharmacy operations and staff to insure clients' objectives and deliverables are met. 
  • Oversees departmental processes, policies and procedures, training, and communication. 
  • Reports and analyzes staffing metrics and program trends. 
  • Ensures achievement of department goals and objectives. 
  • Will interact and see patients one day a week.
  • Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports. 
  • Requires a PharmD.
  • Must possess an active, unrestricted CA state license or certification to practice pharmacy within the scope of practice in CA (multi-state licensure preferred) or territory of the United States (Rph). 
  • 5 years of experience in ambulatory care is required.
  • People management experience (hiring, training, counseling, performance evaluation). 
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills and analytical skills. 
  • Ambulatory Care Pharmacists residency preferred.
  • Board certification preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish desired.
