Responsible for assisting with the development and execution of data mining analyses to enhance reporting functionality and identify data relationships and patterns.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Programs and writes queries and reports.
  • Established knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
  • May be involved with new development of standardized reporting using the data warehouse, in addition to ad hoc reports. 
  • Uses SQL programming languages to extract data

    The majority of time will be spent programming complex data queries

Requires a BS/BA degree; up to 2 years experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. PC, spreadsheet, and database skills preferred. Standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages preferred. Knowledge of SQL and/or  SAS with SQL 2+ years and/or SAS 1+ years of experience.  Must be comfortable presenting data to small audiences. Excel experience required. This job is focused on complex data mining analysis as compared to the Bus Info Developer job.
