Our Customer Care Representatives are making a difference in members' lives every day.

As a Customer Care Representative you will guide members through their healthcare experience, answer customer questions via phone, e-mail, or chat; or help providers with questions about member plans. You will be the person that members can rely on to help them navigate their healthcare needs by explaining their benefits, solving claim concerns, finding a doctor nearby or being their healthcare advocate. You will be their guide to a better healthcare experience by being proactive, anticipating next steps, and ensuring that they only need to call once to get the help they need.

Here's what a typical day may look like:

  • From the moment you login, you'll be focused on answering customer calls, demonstrating our values as you proactively work to resolve our members' questions and concerns
  • You'll strive for first call resolution, working to resolve member issues at the point of contact
  • Using dual monitors and leveraging computer based resources you'll find answers to customers questions, and help simplify next steps for members without giving them homework
  • Acting as an advocate for our members, you may reach out to partners in other departments, or to Doctor's office to help resolve a customer need or concern
  • You will be constantly learning, growing your knowledge and skills, and embracing new technology as we continue to evolve how we service our customers

HealthCore, Inc., a health services research firm, is seeking a Research Manager with experience in the healthcare consulting or biopharmaceutical industry to join our dynamic company. Founded in 1996, and now an independentlyoperating subsidiary of Anthem, Inc., HealthCore provides the health care system, biopharmaceutical industry, academia, and the Federal Government with "real-world" data to improve the quality, safety, and affordability of healthcare. HealthCore’s projects range from retrospective to large-scale, prospective studies in the areas of drug, vaccine, and medical device safety surveillance, risk management, pharmacoepidemiology, health outcomes, pharmacoeconomics, and comparative effectiveness research.  


This position will either be filled as Researcher or Researcher Sr.  Based on experience, the Hiring Manager will determine level upon hire.


We are currently seeking a Researcher or Senior Researcher to join our Health Economics and Outcomes Research team in either our Wilmington, DE or Watertown, MA.

 

This individual will function as a contributing or lead investigator in the design and execution of observational research studies within the Health Economics and Outcomes Research team at HealthCore, and collaborate with researchers, scientists, and clients in the life sciences industry.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the development of study proposals providing research content describing study design, data collection and endpoint definitions, and statistical analysis
  • Implementing study design and statistical analyses plans utilizing industry standard statistical methods
  • Conducting review of administrative claims data and statistical analysis to ensure accuracy of results
  • Summarizing key findings and generating value messages for incorporation into study deliverables, publications and presentations
  • Developing content for study reports, presentations, abstracts and study manuscripts
  • Collaborating with key opinion leaders, clinicians, medical writers, subcontractors and other supporting operational and/or research staff to bring high quality proposals, reports, deliverables, presentations, and other milestones to fruition
  • Facilitate and lead effective research project team and client meetings, lead the development and delivery of agendas and minutes, and serve as the point of contact for administrative and operational activities for project teams and clients.
  • Assist in development of study deliverables and ensure the editorial and quality review of scientific protocols, reports, and presentations
  • Liaise with business development, regulatory, legal, finance, and research data departments to support proposal development, project contracting, and invoicing.
  • Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives to improve existing or establish new processes.
  • Manage client expectations and proactively identify operational challenges and obstacles within project teams, ensure risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans, and manage escalation and resolution of issues to senior leadership.
 

 
 


This position requires a masters or doctoral level degree in business, pubilic health, epidemiology, health services research, or related discipline (e.g., MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD) and 3-4 years of experience in health services research.  Strong study design and statistical analysis skills and proficiency with one or more statistical applications (SAS, Stata) is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
