This role plans and controls resources and efforts in support of assigned external local/regional broker agencies/agents in selling the company’s senior health plans and specialty products. Achieving regional sales targets through assigned agent. Building maintaining and managing broker relationships by conducting daily face to face agent/broker sales calls, conducting monthly training seminars, managing co-op programs, and serving as primary point of contact into Medicare Sales. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Develops and implements sales strategies to increase individual Medicare and specialty sales within assigned territories.
  • Conducts monthly agent/broker training seminars and assists agents in the development of marketing plans and lead acquisition including but not limited to agent websites quoting engines and e-mail marketing.
  • Has strong knowledge of Medicare market segments including individual plans, Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage, and Part D programs.
  • May also serve as a local representative to other brokers classifications including
  • Managing General Agents (MGA) and Field Marketing Organizations (FMO).
  • Requires a BA/BS, minimum 3 years of industry sales/broker management experience in the Health Care Industry (Medicare) or business to business sales; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Active and current Life and health Insurance state license required in state of origin.
